How to Get out of a Bad Mood :( fast ..................... :)

How to Get out of a Bad Mood :( fast ..................... :)

Everyone gets into a big ol’ bad mood sometimes. I’m talking about the kind of mood that throws a spanner in the works, has you fuming at every little thing and threatens to ruin a perfectly good day.

Sometimes these moods happen just when you don’t want them to and they can get in the way of doing what you want to do in the way that

you want to do it. Here’s how to shake them off quickly so that you can get back your life.

1 At first, try to identify the problem that is bothering you. Most of the time problems that are bothering us are so complex that finding out a crisp reason itself becomes a problem. If this may be the case then, try to dig out the problem. And whatever pieces of the puzzle you get, get them written so that at least your brain is relieved from memorizing them. Now when you have identified sufficient no. of pieces, try to put them in such a way that you can see the full puzzle. Once puzzle is identified start the process of finding the solution. If you can find a quick-fix solution then its very good. But if not, then again adopt the same procedure of finding pieces and integrating them until you reach some satisfactory solution. ( Again, don't forget to write those pieces. It helps a great deal in relieving the chatter in the mind.) Try the following things to keep your mind in healthy condition:

2 Immediately occupy yourself with anything droll and somewhat mechanical, finish off some paper work for example. When you're done, you may find the anger has subsided.
3DON'T go shopping. When you're angry, you tend to overspend and buy things you wouldn't ordinarily buy. Similarly to drinking as a coping mechanism or over eating, shopping is a temporary escape that can make you feel worse in the long run.

4 Call someone close - a friends, sister, etc. - anyone whom you trust and can speak with about your problems. Go for a coffee with them, change the scene - jump in a car and go for a nice walk in the park.

5 Try putting on some music you really enjoy, especially if it's lighthearted. A great piece to cool you off is "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)" by the Beatles, but of course, you know your own tastes best.

6 Change the scenery! Go for a drive, take a walk, grab a coffee - anything that will get you out of where you are. This prevents stewing over whatever it is that got you mad in the first place.

7 At some point, consider the other person's point of view, and whether whatever relationship you have with them is worth risking over your anger.

8 It all depends on your attitude, change your attitude and it changes your day.

9 Do some kind of exercise for a minute or two. Try jumping-jacks, push ups, or just running around the block. The new adrenaline will boost your mood.

10 Write down what is bothering you. Once something is on paper, it is usually easier to figure out what to do about the situation. Many times, surprisingly, when you see something on paper it isn't as bad as it seems in your head.

11 Ask yourself: Are things really that bad? If they are, what can you do to get out of it? Try to figure out whats bothering you and then just figure out what to do about it. Just a solution will make you feel better even if you can't do it right away.

12 Try indulging or treating yourself to something once in while to forget and get away from your anger or frustration.

13 Talk to children or elderly people.

14 Do some yoga. After doing breathing exercises of yoga, mind feels much more relaxed.

15 Indulge yourself with some creative work - knitting, painting.

16 Eat a small bar of dark chocolate - don't over-ind
ulge yourself but it is medically proven that a little bit of dark chocolate acts as a natural anti-depressant.
